Rooting of smartphone is simple and easy, especially with the recent apps found on Google Play Store that are just a one click rooting process. With these apps many people still found it difficult to root their smartphone, may be they don?t follow the necessary instruction and process. Or, some may think what is rooting and why do I need to root my smartphone?
In just a few words, let me tell you what is rooting and the benefits in rooting your smartphone. What is rooting?
Rooting is a means of gaining more access to your device beyond what the manufacturer allows you to. This means you can tweak and modify your device?s software on the very deepest level you want. Why You Should Root?
You may not want to root
- If you root your smartphone, you gain access to more apps and they will get deeper into your phone?s brain.
- If you root you can download and install different version of Android firmware.
- Once rooted, you can install the latest Operating System version updates.
- You can download wireless Tether and create your own mobile, encrypted Wi-Fi network.
- When rooted, your battery life can be extended by installing software that ?talks? to the hardware to optimize. And many more?..
because rooting voids your warranty and there is a slim chance for you to break your phone (only if you don?t follow the steps), and you will lose your OTA (Over The Air) updates.
If you have decided to root your phone, I will give you two different tutorials on how you can do it. If the first doesn?t work, I hope the second one will work.1. Rooting with KingRoot

(If the process stops before 100%, check your Internet connection and repeat it some few more times until it gets to 100%). If you want to verify, then you can download Root checker app
After several attempts, if you still can?t root your android phone, then try the second method below.2. Root Android Without PC
