How To Generate and Use Blackberry IMEI on Your Android Smartphone

Many Android users find it difficult to subscribe because of the cost of the various Android subscriptions by different network provider. But Blackberry subscriptions are less costly, but it will not work on Android phones.The trick there is just to change your Android?s IMEI number to that of a Blackberry by generating the IMEI numbers for yourself. Simple.

NOTE: Changing of IMEI numbers is ILLEGAL is some Region/Country.
This process only works on MTK based devices i.e Android phones that run on MTK processors Tecno, Innjoo, Gionee, Infinix etc. Follow thees steps and do it yourself.

1. First, Write out your Android IMEI numbers and save it (In case you want to revert back to it in future) Dial *#06# to access it.

2. Download on your PC this software GIP v4.1 here and unrar the file by doing the following: Copy and paste the three .sys files inside the  C:Windows folder. Double click on GIPv4.1 to open it. Click on Generate **** imei. Ignore the notice, and Click on Continue. Write down the new Blackberry IMEI number you generated.

3. On your android phone, download and install MTK Engineering Mode or click here MTK Engineering Mode 

4. Open it, and click on MTK settings. (see the screenshot below)




5. After that, swipe from right to left to get Connectivity option, then Click on CDS information and Click Radio information. If your Android phone is a DUAL SIM, TWO options will appear, Phone1 and Phone 2 select your preferred SIM slot. (see the screenshot below) and Input the IMEI in this manner :- ?AT+EGMR=1,7,?IMEI_1? ?AT+EGMR=1,10,?IMEI_2?

(Note that: 1,7 denotes changing SIM1 and 1,10 denotes changing SIM2, don't interchange it)  (replace IMEI_1 OR IMEI_2 with your IMEI no) and tap on SEND AT COMMAND button, for example: ?AT+EGMR=1,7,?3584XXXXXXXXXX?, If your phone is Android KitKat 4.4 device, after inputting the IMEI number in this manner ?AT+EGMR=1,7,?IMEI_1? Make sure to leave a blank space after the AT+ command before clicking on SEND.


6. Save and close the App. Reboot your phone and check your IMEI number by dialing *#06#. The new IMEI will appear. That means you are good to go. subscribe to your prefer BB data plan and enjoy.

If this process is duly followed, it would be successful. Tested and working perfectly.
