How To Buy Items and Ship From US - Uk - China To Nigeria

It is common these days to go online and search for things you like. It could be from electronics, to mobile phones, gadgets and many more. In fact, clothings, shoes, ear-rings and all other fashions and beauty make-ups are also part of what people love to buy online. Although, there are many online shops in Nigeria that offers all of these things and ship to your final destinations. Talk of Jumia, Konga, Kaymu, Deal dey and many more. Whatever you want to buy, you will surely get it. The only thing about all these online shops in Nigeria is that, most times, all these goods mentioned above are costly and very expensive to buy, especially when it comes to clothing, shoes, and some electronics. Most times, an average Nigerian cannot afford to buy these things.

(For example, You saw a shoe on local online shop, you love it so much, because it is what you've been dreaming to have. But the moment you checked the price, you saw a price tag of N10,000 or more. Whereas, when you went to check foreign online shops for the same item, to your surprise it is just N2000 when you converted it to your local currency. No doubt, you will wish to buy it at that cheap price. But, how will you ship it to your destination? You may surely let it go, especially, when most (if not all) of these countries don't want to ship to Nigeria again because of the havoc Fraudsters and so call "yahoo yahoo" guys have done and tagged Nigeria with.)

That makes me to started making research online about the cost, quality and ways to buy things from countries where these things are made. I was able to find out that these products are not expensive at all from these countries. And am sure many people also know this. But what usually makes many to feel timid buying things from overseas countries in Europe, America, China and so on, is the questions they raise concerning payment, shipment and the cost of the shipment. They are right to ask such questions. Interestingly, their are ways and answers to those questions.

How It Works...

Shipping to Nigeria is easy and less expensive. This is how it works. (Note: everything discuss here also applies to people shopping from Ghana)

There are some sites online that offer the service. This is the only site I know for now Shoptomydoor.  So, i cannot recommend any other. You can go online if you like to search for some others yourself. But be careful, a lot of fraudsters are every where!!! (Beware of Scammer)

  • You will have to sign up, and fill a form on this site (shoptomydoor), enter your address in Nigeria, that is called your final destination.
  • After signing up, you will be given addresses in UK, US and China (they are called warehouse address). This is just like a warehouse. (Don't worry, this addresses work like a post office, where your letters are kept until you have time to pick it up. But you are not expected to pick it up in UK, US or China yourself). Anytime you shop online, just make sure you know the country where the shop is located. You will enter your address, and your goods will be shipped to that address. You won't pay a kobo for having these warehouse addresses.
  • When your good(s) get their, you will have to log-in and order your goods to be shipped to your final destination in Nigeria.
  • For example, if I shop on Amazon or ebay, both are located in US, I will enter my US address, given to me by shoptomydoor, since amazon and ebay don't ship to Nigeria. When my goods arrive their, i will sign in to shoptomydoor, and order my goods to be shipped to Nigeria, my final destination. All i need to do is to pay shipping fee to shoptomydoor.
Why Is It Beneficial?
Shopping from foreign online store is good because, most times delivery within the country is free. For instance, If you shop in US, delivery to any part of the country is free, so you wont have to pay for anything besides your goods fee. (the actual money of what you bought).
